1 Rep Max Squat - What is your Max?

I got 350 lb  (160 kg) today, so I am here to bragg and find competition.

i suck  at it,  could lift  100 kg xD   more horrible  fact that  at  that time  i could  benchpress  125kg. 70kg shoulder press.  ( i add more  better facts because  at squads i suck)   .  also  22  pulls  ups as  a  record

all the numbers  i told  were  at the  age of 17,  or  fresh 18.  at first  univ.  course  all screwed with  beer.  now  im  back to sport again :O   but  won't  refuse  drinking , i want to live  fun ://  only  replaced  beer with  vodka

Sry guys but im must say u all are noob in this topic.

My record is :
Bench  press  - 210kg
Squat ( sry HL but 160kg i can life up 12 time in regular trening so u dont have reson to brag :p  )
Shoulders press  -  150kg


Someone have some question ?

this must  be Ares right.  but  using deca  doesnt make  you  hero.  i know  your results  are great, spent much time  in gym, could  win  some competitions, but still potency demaged.

Bench - 245 lb ( 111 kg. )
Squat - 350 lb ( 160 kg. )
Shoulder Press - 155 lb  ( 70 kg. )
Deadlift - 425 lb ( 192 kg. )


I deadlift  100% raw - no straps, no belt  (I can do 455 with straps, (206 kg))

My Body weight - 154 lb.  ( 70 kg. )



I have gotten 36 pullups, and about 4 x 1-hand pullups, but I guess you can say its because I'm very light   :)

I have been training with wrestling and jiu-jitsu, so I try to keep my light weight.



Ares, do you take steroids?   Protein?  Creatine?  Pre-workout formula?

well , depending on the weight,  at least  i hope  you aren't   160cm height :D for example  i used to be  88kg  194cm(still pretty thin to myself) , and i  was 17 yet, so many thought i maybe  take some shit to  bench  125.
pull ups,  is the  exercise which i reccommend to many,  very good thing to look  like  V :D
doing one hand  pull up is also  my one of  sport  related dreams, now im pretty  far from it,  cant pull  my self at all ( being  in  12th class could make 90 degrees corner between  elbow).

You can share if  u used some addition  to food,  i recently took 90% bcaa(2leucine:1izoleucine:1valine)(found it  cheapest) , and  ill see how it will go. the only  bad thing is  i get drunk  once  a  week,  which is  pretty much, but being student  i dont  want any costs which would  reduce my happiness :D

im not  very sure  about  ares,  its bad i  didnt copy our conversation,  he told  me  some  name,  telling its  good clean thing. but i found its more likely  to be  deca, which is a steroid. not 100 percent sure.

180 cm.   70 kg.

(yeah I'm thin, many people find it strange that I can bench and squat such weight with my body weight)


I have tried creatine, but I find no difference.

So I only take protein, Whey protein, now.

I eat everything.  Healthy or unhealthy you name it  - chicken, beef, rice, burger, pork, french fries, candy, potatos, ice cream, cookies, pancakes, cereal, lol  but a lot of MILK   :)

I don't drink or smoke.

my friends were telling me about bcaa, what you think about it?  tell me your results

i just  began that week(BCAA).
i had used  creatine and  usual  amino earlier and  vitamins.  well, these non  steroid supplies dont  give a feeling of strength, stamina  or something.   but as i used  these  for separate period , for example  at school  on sports  i was for 8 months, and improved bench  by  25kg, so  naturally  its a big improvement.
about  creatine , im not sure  if  it was AFTER  i started creatine , but  biceps really became bigger, 39cm,  as now  i again find  myself  having 37.  i mean i didnt  follow  improvements regularly, but it wouldnt  be strange to improve sizes  as  creatine is  about to store more  water in muscles.

about bcaa ill see how  it will go, at school  i used to  drink once  per  1/1,5  month, now its once a week, and  it surely will have an effect  negatively. from  descriptions seemed many people  have positive opinion about  bcaa, and such thing as proteins  i never considered  to buy because mostly it buys people who want quicker  weight improving.

i should add  yet i find  all days  after training  little  painful(bcaa must fix it !), and  as in school , all trainings didnt have much impact next days :)

Well, I train for strength mostly; I'm into wrestling and combat arts, and plan on being a fighter pilot, so increasing size is not much concern, mostly power and strength.  because of this, im not really concerned with creatine if it gives size but not much strength - it also feels like cheating, as if it is an advantage  (not steroids, but still not 100% clean), kinda like turbo mouse but not trainer lol


what is your body weight/height?  and what are your goals?  strength, power, size, etc?   im researching bcaa now, but just like creatine, it seems "unclean" if u know what i mean?

i wrote some stats  above,  now  im  194/90kg. my  main  goal  was always strength.  good so have  first look impression  if  girl thinks youre strong, but damn , thats not so much important.  more fun  to  look thin and lift hard shit :D so that all exercises used  to be 5 reps  basic exercises (bench , shoulder press,  legs)  and  8 reps for not basic. only  for pull ups, pull ups from two horizontal bars with hands(dont remember english name  of that exercise (  at the end  could  make  3 with  60 kg added ))  need more and abs.

about additional nutrition,  i dont very understand what u mean as if something is not clear.  i have read many articles, and  as for creatine , meat contain 5 percent of  creatine, so i think its fair, also as it often reccommended  to eat creatine for vegetarians. about bcaa, all amino include  these bcaa, just in small quantities . bcaa are some  branched, as more developed aminos, so maybe its np. on the other side, i have read other articles, that such products  as NO might be not very clear,  despite  its non  steroid,  many products yet  lack information if its harmless. about bcaa also  written that its not  clearly reliable because we dont know  everything about it.  but as it is important not to lose  potention, there is written  that many products,  despite  they are not steroids, may little  bit be  harmful to potention , but as i understood , its because  all that additional  nutrition is  a pharmacy product, not natural, so  also  stomach starts to adapt to all pharmacy,  then  might  become  harder  to get all  nutrition from natural food.

but as many stupid kids, i need  some  addition to food because  not only  it has a positive  effect or not, i give more efforts ,  as  i know  i got some more resources  to build muscles. so at least this  helps to improve :D
