Ok, I made this post to appreciate people and the community who I spent a lot of time playing with and a lot of time trying to catch up to them. I remember being obsessed with becoming no. 1 but in the end, nothing gave me more satisfaction than that first milestone of crossing 400 pop in 10pt 1st test map or trying to rush someone by going all-in etc. I used to speak a lot of shit back then. A lot!
It became too boring during the last 2 years when a lot of players left. Anyway now I have a great appreciation for people that gave me self-esteem and belief in myself, Video games and gamers tend to do that. And I can't believe that this thread about "Having a week or a day to relive without toxic competitivity" is getting trampled by some people's fragile ego over why Holylord, Dingo, T-Bag, and Viktor and company get to the lord all over them despite being inactive. I am no sage, I just believe that if you want to coexist with people, U need to focus on the positive. WL Mysterio, You have spent a tremendous amount of time in this game during the last 2 3 years but do you really believe you could have achieved all this without all the channels providing u tactics for room to grow on? Don't make this already restraint and thinned-out community any more hostile and unwelcoming. This forum is how we keep track of each other after all these years, We remember how shitty we were and we laugh about it. There's one another guy(actually there are al ot but) I should mention who helped this community flourish a lot and that is FEANOR! . If it wasn't for him and his army of Ukranian, Russians, and a lot of just badly prepubescent named clans I wouldn't have gotten the chance to hang around, He kept the community alive during 2012 and alot of his trainees(including me) got to pass the torch on. Thank you Feanor, My number 1 rival. Idk if you commented here but It was nice seeing your drunk red face around here. Guys I really don't know how to articulate these emotions after seeing some of the toxic comments, I see too much of 13 years old me in some new blood here. Stop shitting here about why some players r mentioned as the best and u r not. They gave this community their time and expertise. Their names are gonna be etched into this community. Stop whining about it. I will rephrase half of what I read months ago quoted by Peabody I guess "Young ones should be more respectful to giants whose should they are standing on". Anyways I m only going to reply to comments actually interested about SHC day or professional life on this thread. Cheers!

What the fuck are all these long reads above, make another thread for your playground guys.
Im a bit jealous how some of you guys were not lazy to study and have advanced well, like I have seen ferocious getting his degree in Minnesota, fahad studying in Germany. And good you guys explored that the western world is quite nice. Back in time I am not certain was it Rivaz/Fahad or Ferocious giving me lectures how people in Europe fuck between sisters and brothers. Good TV material is shown in Pakistan I guess. |

Im pretty sure one of those guys confused the habits of his own home with Europe. |
Hi guys. I randomly felt like checking this forum and it's great to see folks hanging around and checking back in. I think I'm logging back in after a solid 8-9+ years, and can't deny I feel quite nostalgic.
@ The Notorious One, do you mind reminding me what your GR nickname was, and you too @Max Galingumas. Also - it's funny how you know I got my degree in Minnesota. I read my posts from 2012 and before and just want to apologize to people for my profanity, lol. I was ~14 years old - didn't know better. But boy, did this game take up the better half of my days back in the day. The community was something. Equal parts antagonistic and friendly. There entire beef people had against Pakistanis was something, lool. Think we deserved it given how unruly we were. I downloaded GameRanger and SHC, but didn't see anyone in the lobby I'd recognize obviously. Folks I remember from back in the day. Rivaz, Fallen, Aragorn, Savo, and FL (obviously as I know them, have met them in person, and am good friends - we played DoTA apart from SHC too). Other players were Fahad, Mahmood, Dangerfield, Dingo, Maly, Unframed, nice guy from Lithuania whose name I can't recall, and many others whose names I can't recall. Think I would have to find my old computer back home, dust it up, log-in, and find my gallery of game records. Lool, incredible that we maintained records of our winnings. |

lol i kept that community in 2011-2014, maximum it was at 2013 and then was the most biggest growning shc community, every shc stream has 50+ viewers , even then this streams just got populary, i think shc died after 2014-2015, i left in 2014 from managment ;( but was nice times , not sleeping at nights, creating smth better raitings sites fb groups, tournaments, drinking, smoking weed etc...

Guess who is still addicted to this game and the good memories we had in it more than a decade ago? Looks like it's everyone including myself lol.
Just randomly checking this forum after about 10 years to relive some of the memories after finding the game's folder on my pc and coming across that post brought me some happy nostalgia reading all the names like Feanor, Fahad, Viktor, Dingo, Tbag and many more. Good times man, despite Fahad's non stop trashtalks back then Jokes aside, I am happy that I am not the only one who thought about those good old days and almost at the same time as many others. Even though I nolifed this game for a good period of time, I regret nothing. It was fun and we were definitely very passionate about it which lead to a lot of heat at many times and players shaming others for losses with screenshots and videos, ranking lists and arguments about who deserves a spot, and most certainly tons of akas The game itself is one of my favorites but big props to the community making it a lot more fun with the competitiveness and the clans. Reading through some of the comments and it looks like the heat is still on Sign me up for the reunion idea, pick a date and I'll download gameranger (oh man I dont think I'll remember my login but I'll try to figure it out) to get to meet you all after such a long time. |

@Farhan(ferocious) nice seeing u here, the guy from lithuania was unframed also known as max.
@R.M (Remon Melika) i bet u didnt count on me remembering ur name, sup? yea my trash talk still sounds funny. @The notorious one, I doubt i was smart enough back in the day to insinuate such a thing as inbreeding in royal family or something. @feanor yea those were wild times. Well I hope we can do it in December, we should make a poll on this. Believe it or not, no matter how small this community was as compared to call of duty or dota or tekken etc, It impacted us more than any other community would have. This is not a stretch when I say that this community shaped self esteem to some extent. For me, it's irrelevant to compare whether I was any good a player or not(but just in case of any doubts, Dingo was the best player around at the time). I was a kid back then, much like some new people here that are hella competitive and marginally toxic but I hope that I will be remembered as not just a bratty kid but a junior historian and a decent person from 2010-2013 era.

No shame in how we acted back then, there was a lot of heat and competition which was one of the reasons why this game did not bore most if not all of us even though we were playing it for a looong time.
With that being said, I am happy to hear from you Fahad after 10 years, but this time, you are not cussing both my parents every sentence hahahah you know I am just kidding :p I agree that this community is definitely a great one, proven by the fact that it remained relevant to us after a long time has passed where we meet here on this forum, also by how there are always new players coming in and joining to replace the players who decided to retire, and so on. Ok then, I'll remember you as a bratty historian Fahad I am sure most of the people in this community are achievers, including you Fahad so yes you and many others are decent people |
hahahaha, that's very kind of you
But I still don't consider that I achieved anything. If anything at all, I was privileged enough to get where I am at. I still got lot of ways to go. ye,a shc did play a role in setting us up for future endeavors. No regrets.

December sounds a bit far, I am afraid people will forget or get distracted by their busy lives. Let's make a poll and see what suits everyone to make this gathering happen

"I still got lot of ways to go." Only something an achiever would say
Hope we keep this community together even if we do not talk on daily basis, but this post is just evidence that this community was never destroyed or forgotten and I hope it will always be part of us no matter how old we grow |
I don't think anybody has the time to play it so recently, even i don't have time in the next 3 months but let's hope that everybody can come to an agreement. Should give it more time.
and as for the growth part, we are always in a process of continuous changes, I believe we all evolve overtime at our own pace and I suppose I see myself lagging or still a long way to where I should be in terms of security and sustenance. I am no expert on the topic, i just introspect time to time. Again not an expert. just an opinion.

I think we should consider the holiday season (probably late December) as a good time.

Hi, Fahad. Nice to see you posting again. I literally searched for you in LinkedIn lately by your name I knew from facebook for no reason, as well as I watched Dingo vs Mert video.
I mean, the more attention you gave to the politic, the more it will be nostalgic. I didn't play as many as you people did; but I think it's okay for me to ask for permission to join the annual reunion as there exist some people still recognize me I agreed with T-Bag; the reunion would probably drive us to another cool affair. I'm currently working as data scientist, but most of my time is spent for dealing with database retrieval which is the stuff that should probably be done by data engineer. I'd be happy if any of you want me to share things I know about SQL. HolyLord, Dingo, Ferocious, UnFramed, and other lords, I hope you guys are doing well. Nuhayeek (we salute you) - Arabian Swordman |
Dagepyn, data scientist, cool, well done. I graduated statistics and some of the guys i studied with ended up being programmers and stuff but I never had enough motivations for that, too lazy.
Recently I logged in to my AKA fb account (using akas was never my thing, only because some guys liked to comment on pics and threaten to text family members, I had to hide real account). So anyway, I just wanted to share a little bit of comedy what chats used to be like back in those days. Fahad was the greatest defender of Pakistan pride. :D |
Fahad, can you please confirm if it's true - you really fucked his sister and mom?
|
hahahahahah
come on, that's a virgin talking. Sorry max, for my hormonal teenager days.

That's nice that you have narrowed down your options so quickly cause most of the guys i m with are aiming to be full stack developer rather than choosing a niche.
I myself as an electrical engineer am no stranger to the world of programming. It is nice seeing people here so accomplished. Other than that, yes late december would be nice.

It couldn't have happened because everyone is up to their necks in prior commitments to their friends and family over the holidays, I think it will take some sort of a miracle to come up with a schedule that suits everyone.
Maybe someday in the future. :(
