I think as  most players who tried this aren't hackers, its very risky. i mean probability that someone will try to look where his money have gone is small, but in case if  they try, its easy to find out who did it and consequences could be very bad. And it doesn't matter you haven't done "criminals", its already a big crimimal.
And yes, its very good that these players were banned.
